We had 2 additional residents test positive today for Covid-19 during our outbreak testing. We will continue with our weekly outbreak testing until we have 14 days with no additional COVID-19 positive cases. During any visit, continued diligence of our infection prevention and control practices is critical. While we are in outbreak status, mask usage is required for visitors and staff in all common areas of the facility. This includes the dining area. Visitors sitting or assisting residents in the dining and common areas should always maintain mask usage. A visitor instruction sheet is located at the front entrance as well as a tutorial sheet on how to safely wear your mask to cover your nose and mouth. Please do not visit if you are showing any signs or symptoms of COVID-19. The most effective tool to protect against Covid-19 is to adhere to the above guidelines as well as be fully vaccinated and receive current booster vaccines.
We are following recommendations from the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH), the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
