It is with a heavy heart that we send this message to you. On 9-27-20, two residents of Guardian Angels who had previously tested positive for CoVid-19, passed away. We extend our deepest sympathies to the family and friends of our beloved resident.

Our entire community grieves these tragic losses. For all of us here at Guardian Angels, providing the best possible care and protecting the health and wellness of our residents and staff is our highest priority.

We continue to follow all recommendations from the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on providing care for our residents. While caring for residents in isolation, staff follow all federal and state guidelines for wearing full protective equipment, including medical gowns, eye protection and masks, and are restricted to work solely in the segregated unit.

We know that keeping you informed is a key responsibility for our team. Each week, we provide you with an update on the number of residents and staff who have been impacted and the steps we’re taking to do all that we can do stop this virus.
