Staff from Guardian Angels Health and Rehabilitation Center spent the afternoon in Chisholm at the United Way office to pack food for the Buddy Backpacks Program. We packed 480 bags in 45 minutes to help kids in our area with snacks for after school and Weekends.
This is a great event that we are honored to be apart of.

The annual adopt-a-resident drive is ready to begin this year. We are changing things up a bit this year for the drive. Each resident will receive a small tabletop LED Christmas tree for their room.
Thank you, in advance for supporting our residents and bringing some extra cheer to them this Christmas season.
Although it's a nice thought, I think the majority of our residents would prefer the gift tree. The gift tag tree made it so residents could get things they wanted/needed. Especially those without families who provide the little stuff, such as new lotion or even pajamas. If it hasn't been done already, maybe go around and ask the residents before changing something that has been done every year for at least the last 8 years? Just food for thought..
So we are not doing a Christmas tree with name tags for gifts for the residents this year, we are doing a ceramic tree? So they are not getting gifts unless their families or employees bring them in because instead, they are getting a Christmas tree correct!?
